• Peter Bruno

    Director of Operations

Peter was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. He spent most of his youth playing sports, hunting, trap shooting and fishing. Whether chasing whitetails and grouse in Western Wisconsin, or riding his bike to go fishing, he was always outdoors. After high school he attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Water Resources. After college Peter worked 25 years for an industrial water treatment company in sales and management before retiring in 2022. He lived and worked across the Midwest in Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota throughout his career.

Over the years, Peter continued to spend a lot of his free time in the outdoors. Whether that be dog training, shooting clays, fishing or hunting whitetails, pheasants and waterfowl. While living in North Dakota, he became involved with high school trap shooting as a Head Coach for one of the largest teams in North Dakota. After moving back to Wisconsin, Peter started a new high school trap team and continues to be the Head Coach today with the goal of giving high school students the opportunity to compete on a competitive team in a safe and fun environment.

After retiring, Peter was looking for a way to give back to those who have given so much. Through a mutual friend he was introduced to Mitch Vazquez - founder of Heroes’ Harvests. After hearing the mission of Mitch and his organization Peter knew he wanted to help in any way possible. He looks forward to the opportunity to use the skills he gained in his 25-year career in sales and management to help grow Heroes’ Harvests and provide more opportunities to the military community.

Peter currently lives in central Wisconsin with his wife, Erin, and they have 2 great kids, Phillip (18) and Miranda (16)
